Allied Academies Group proudly invites all the
participants and contributors across the globe to attend International
Conference on Family Medicine and Family Physicians during Oct 16-17, 2017 at
Toronto, Canada. Family medicine Conference strives to bring renowned
scientists, Physicians, Surgeons, Professors, Instrumentalists, Medical and
Industrial professions, young researchers, students and Business delegates
under a single roof providing an opportunity to share the knowledge and
scientific progress in the field Family medicine shaping the future research.
Family medicine and its specialty are focused on loving, caring and never
ending relationships between the patients and their families. Family physicians
combine the clinical, behavioral, and biological sciences to provide
comprehensive and continuous health care. The field and scope of family
medicine encircles each organ system, all ages, sexes and every disease entity.
Research studies shows that countries that highlight primary care have better
outcomes of health at a lower cost. Where U.S. tries to increase and improve
delivery of health care, it is clear that family physicians i.e. the primary
health care providers are success of a more effective process. Family
physicians provide the most care - managing Primary care specialties such as
family medicine, general and internal medicine and pediatrics.
Family medicine is a tri-dimensional specialty,
including (1) skill, (2) knowledge and (3) system. Patient-physician
relationship is at the center of system element with the patient viewed in the
circumstances of their family. It is the level of extent to which this
relationship is maintained, developed, valued, and nurtured that differentiates
family medicine from all other sub specialties. The main aim of this meeting is
to exchange new scientific and clinical data in the field of Family medicine
uniting among the specialists, doctors, researchers, and other partnered
wellbeing experts under one rooftop.
Why to attend???

The Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical
Classification System is a tool for pharmaceutical industries to classify
pharmaceutical products. It was initiated in the year 1971 by European
Pharmaceutical Market Research Association (EphMRA) and is being maintained by
the EphMRA and the Pharmaceutical Business Intelligence and Research Group
(PBIRG). The A T Chemical classification system is used for the classification
of active ingredients of drugs which are manufactured according to the organ or
system on which they act. In this system drugs are classified into groups at
different levels, some codes in the first level are blood and blood forming
organs indicated by B, dermatologicals
are indicated by D, nervous
system is indicated by N, respiratory
system is indicated by R and sensory
organs are indicated by S
A family nurse practitioner is a person
who provides comprehensive and continuing healthcare for a particular family or
for a particular individual. These services are provided all the age groups in
a family. The FNP must be board certified by an approved certification body.
The board certification in US is provided by two board’s one is the American
Nurses Credentialing Center and the other one is American Academy of Nurse
Practitioners certification program. Family Nurse Practitioner also provides
services like preventive care, including routine
check-up, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests, and personalized
counselling. There is huge rise in demand for family
physician in United States. A nurse with post-graduation education in
nursing is called an Advanced practice registered nurse (APRN). These nurses
are prepared with didactic and clinical education, knowledge, skills required
for practicing nursing.
The emergency health care services are provided to the patients who are in an emergency situation outside the hospital. These services are known as paramedic services or the ambulance services. These individuals who respond first to the emergency situation are a called First responder and they are certified. The certified first responders always have the basic equipment required for an emergency situation. The main purpose of Emergency Health care is to save life, prevent any further injuries and provide basic first aid to the victim. The air ambulances (helicopters) services are operated and maintained by different sources like hospital-operated and others like Federal State or local government; or through a variety of departments, including local or State Police, the United States Park Service or Fire Departments. Emergency medical technician or ambulance technician are the terms used in some countries to denote a health care provider.Pediatric emergency medicine: this is a subspecialty in medicine which deals with both pediatrics and emergency medicine. It deals with acute illnesses or injuries in children who are undifferentiated and unscheduled; these acute illnesses require immediate medical attention. Intensive medicine or critical care medicine is a stream of medicine that deals with diagnosis and management of life in life threatening situations requiring sophisticated organ support and invasive monitoring
The treatment or therapy using the drugs that are manufactured in a pharmaceutical industry is called pharmacotherapy. These drugs are administered by experts to ensure that they are used safely, appropriately and economically. This is a branch of science that is involved only in the development of pharmacotherapy. The pharmacotherapy specialist is responsible directly for patient care and they also provide all the valuable information that is required for the patients and professionals in healthcare. New pharmaceutical drugs are created by the pharmaceutical industries and academia use basic science, applied science, and translational science. The required knowledge, training and experience in biomedical, pharmaceutical and clinical sciences are required to function as a pharmacist. Physical therapy is also called movement therapy or physiotherapy which involves treatment by movement and mechanical force.Pharmacology is the stream of biology that deals with the study of drug action and this drug can be defined broadly as endogenous (from within body) or natural, manmade. Clinical pharmacology is the branch of science that deal with drugs and their clinical use
The ultimate goal of primary healthcare
is to attain better health services to all the people. The Primary Health care
ensures universal health care access to all individuals, which is
scientifically sound and the methods used in PHC is accepted socially. The PHC
services are provided under the goals and principles which are identified by
the World Health Organization. The outcomes of primary healthcare results in
better health outcomes, reduced health disparities and lower spending,
including on avoidable emergency room visits and hospital care. In Canada the
access to primary and other healthcare services are provided for all citizens
through the Canada Health Act. According to the Association of American Medical
Colleges report in November 2009 physician work force report, nationally, the
rate of physicians providing primary care is 79.4 physicians per 100,000
residents. The debate related to health care reform in United States includes right
to health care, access, fairness, sustainability, quality and amounts spent by
the government in welfare of the public equally. Health
crisis is a complex health system or a difficult situation that occurs in
one or more geographical locations mainly due to natural
hazards. Health
economics is a branch of economics that deals with issues related to effectiveness,
efficiency, behaviour in the consumption and production of healthcare and
health. Evidence based policy is a
process to understand approaches to enhance the likelihood of policy adoption
and content to identify specific policy elements that are likely to be
effective and outcomes to document the potential impact of policy.Preventivemedicine/ Preventive Healthcare: Measures taken to prevent diseases, which
opposed to disease treatment is called preventive medicine. Every year millions
of people die due to preventable deaths. Epidemiology: analysing of patterns ,
effects and causes of health and disease conditions in defined populations is
called epidemiology.
The global health plays an important
role in the research and practice’s that are important on improving health for
all the people worldwide equally. Global health is about reducing disparities
and protection form global threats. Wold Health Organization is a predominant
agency that is associated with global health. Disregarding the national borders
the Global Health is about the improvement of world health, other agencies that
impact global health include UNICEF, World food programme, and the World Bank.
The interventions in global health to develop child health and survival include
the promotion of breastfeeding, zinc supplement, vitamin A fortification and
salt iodization, hygiene interventions such as hand-washing, vaccinations, and
treatments of severe acute malnutrition. Total of 32 treatments and health
interventions are suggested by the Global health
Council that could potentially save several million lives each year. The
conditions in which people are grown, work, born, live and age is called Social
Determinants of Health (SDH). The forces and systems in SDH include
economic policies and systems, development agendas, social norms, social
policies and political systems. Migrant
Health is the field of study that deal with the health effects experienced
by people who have moved to different part of the world either by choice or as
a result of unsafe situations such as war
.
The public health refers to disease
prevention, promoting and prolonging life through organized efforts and choices
that are informed by the society, organizations, public and private,
communities and individuals. The main aim of public
health intervention is to improve the quality of life through disease
prevention and disease treatments. In United States the public health
activities are held at the municipal level before the mid-20th
century. Under the administration of the second president of United States,
hospitals were organized by the congress for mariners. All the vaccination
programs and control of many infectious diseases by the public health resulted
in dramatic rise in average life span in 19th and 20th
century. Major infectious diseases like polio, yellow fever, and smallpox were
controlled by the public
health programmes. Other major
public health improvement was the decline of urban penalty brought about by the
improvement in sanitation.
Public health improvements include chlorination of drinking water, filtration
and sewage treatment, which led to the decline of deaths caused by the
infectious diseases. The United States Department of Health and Human services
(HHS) populates a publicly available called the Health System Measurement Project
to ensure a robust monitoring system. The US health care delivery system
provides equal and uneven medical care of varying quality to its population.
The
process of controlling the population or number of children in a family is
called family planning. This process is done especially by the artificial
contraception or voluntary sterilization. Birth control assisted reproductive
technology and family planning programs are the modern methods of family
planning. These modern methods of contraception are important in improving the
long-term health of adolescent girls. In United States the use of
contraceptives saves about $19 million in direct medical costs each year. Title
X of the PHS ACT in U.S. government program is dedicated in providing family
planning services to ones who are in need but the percentage of public
funding to this Title X is declined form 44% in 1980 to 12% in 2006, of the
total expenditures. Natalism
is also called pro-natalism or the pro-birth position, this is a belief that
promotes human reproduction. This term is derived from the Latin adjective form
for “birth”. Anti-Natalism

from the very first hour of the baby’s life and continues as long as the baby
wants. Breastfeeding is also called as Nursing.
Child deaths under the age of five can be controlled globally every year with
increased breastfeeding. Many diseases can be prevented by breastfeeding in the
child health like low risks of asthma, food allergies,
diabetes type 2 and leukemia. Breastfeeding plays a vital role in child
development. Till today there are no known disadvantages in breastfeeding
but extra precautions should be taken to avoid breastfeeding in certain
circumstances such as infectious diseases or use of medications. Breastfeeding
also benefits the mother’s health in reducing risk of breast cancer, ovarian
cancer and endometrial cancer. WABA (World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action)
is a global network formed in 1991 to protect, promote and to support the right
of all mothers and children’s to breastfeeding
Patients who are accepted for treatment by direct walk-in without an appointment to a clinic is called walk- in clinic. Many healthcare providers like urgent care center’s, retail clinics, community health clinics and many free clinics comes under this category. The walk-in clinic is a very broad category of medical facilities. Recent studies estimate that there are nearly 11,000 walk-in clinics in America. Walk-in clinics are considered to be urgent care center by consumers. All types of Walk-in clinics provide all the basic and standard services such as routine vaccinations, evaluation of cold and flu symptoms and severe physical injuries but the urgent care center’s provide more services such as X-ray testing for suspected pneumonia or broken bones. Regular follow up and care is given to the patients at the walk-in clinics
Medicine
Medicine
this word is derived from Latin medicus which
means physician. Medicine is the practice and science of treatment, diagnosis
and prevention of disease. Different types of Modern medicine exists today like Internal
Medicine, Preventive
Medicine, Behavioural
Medicine, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Sleep
Medicine etc…..Prescientific forms of medicine are now known as traditional medicine and folk medicine. They remain commonly used with or
instead of scientific medicine and are thus called alternative medicine. Medical education and
training varies around the world. It involves entry level education at medical
school in a university then followed by a
period of supervised practice or residency or internship. This can be
followed by postgraduate vocational training. In medical education a variety of
teaching methods have been employed, still itself a focus of active research.
In United States of America and Canada, a Doctor of Medicine degree is often
abbreviated M.D., or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree is often
abbreviated as D.O. and unique to the United States, must be completed in and
delivered from a recognized university

doctors classified as primary care physicians and those are specialized in
family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatrics also saw significant salary increase.
This shows a clear image of heightened demand for physicians United States
For the first time the primary care physician salary

really show the demand for primary care physicians in United States
Growth remains too slow
to meet the demand of family physicians:
In 2016 most of the medical students and graduates matched to
family medicine i.e., 3105 medical graduating students chose family medicine in
the National Resident Matching program (NRMP), according to Robert Graham
Center for Policy Studies in Family Medicine and Primary Care have estimated
that there will be 33,000 shortage of primary care physicians by 2035, upward
trend is important but the rate of increase is not nearly important to meet the
demand of family physicians

New It technologies are used by family physicians and their
general practices and frequently they are using telemedicine as a tool to
access advanced diagnostic methods. The use of information and communication
technologies is increasingly rapidly as support, redesign and improvement tools
for healthcare delivery systems especially in primary care. The use of
information and communication technologies in 31 European countries shows that
95.97% of general practices use computer in service delivery.
